Tim Leeper Roofing has been a proud part of the Middle Tennessee community for over 10 years now. Tim’s passion to do what is right and treat customers fairly has earned him a reputation that few roofers can claim – that of an honest roofing company. Tim’s other passion is helping people right here in Middle Tennessee. Tim created Help Cycle, a company founded exclusively to raise money for local non-profit organizations right here in the Nashville market.
And Tim is proud to be hosting the First Annual Help Cycle Golf Tournament on August 4th, 2014. Players can participate in a morning round of golf, and stay for lunch, or come for lunch and participate in the afternoon round of golf. Tim’s goal is to sell the tournament out and raise close to $40,000 for local charities, including Brooks House, Tennessee Baptist Children’s Homes, Waves, and Sherry’s Run.
“We have been blessed with a great 10 years in the roofing business and we feel very fortunate to be in a position to give back to the community”, says Tim Leeper. “There is nothing more satisfying than giving to your neighbors in need”.
Since April, 2008, Brooks House has been providing temporary housing for up to 20 women and their children in need. In addition to offering a safe place for families to stay, Brooks house offers educational services, career advancement programs, medical and dental services, mental health services, mentoring, legal and financial counseling and more. Brooks House is proud to offer these women and children a hand up, not a hand out.
Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home has a similar mission. This charity ministers to children and families in crisis, regardless of faith background, through residential care, counseling and other programs. Thousands of children in Tennessee suffer the pain and loneliness of a family in crisis each year. TBCH cares for approximately 200 children each year who find themselves without a place to call home. All children are accepted, and the organization chooses not to accept government funding so that Christian values can be taught.
Waves, Inc is an organization enabling individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to progress toward their full potential. They provide Early Intervention services to children from birth to age three, working with children and their families to achieve their highest potential in all areas of development including: physical, cognitive, social, emotional and adaptive. They also have an Adult program for developmentally delayed individuals that include day programs, residential services and job training. Each program is designed to help their clients live their best life through activities, community engagement and life-long learning.
Sherry’s Run was founded by Sherry’s husband and children after Sherry lost her battle with colon cancer. The foundation provides assistance of all kinds for patients going through cancer treatments, including assistance with rent, gas, groceries, medical premium payments and prescription co-pays.
Come join Tim Leeper at the First Annual Help Cycle Golf Tournament and help raise money for your neighbors as well. If we all give a little, we can make a huge difference for the Middle Tennessee community.
